🔽How to show testimonials in batches with a "Load More" button
Show a set number of testimonials first and let visitors load more with a button, on your grid widget or your Wall of Fame page. Also explains why a carousel can show fewer testimonials than expected.
If you have lots of testimonials, showing them all at once makes the page long. Pagination shows the first few, say 10, with a Load More button that reveals the next batch. It works on the grid widget and on the Wall of Fame page.
On your testimonial widget
Open your wall and click Testimonial Widget.
Open the Widget Settings panel and find Pagination option.
Turn on Enable Pagination on Grid Embeds.
Set the Number of testimonials to paginate, for example 9 for three full rows of three.
Optionally change the "Load More" Button Text and the button, text and border colours.
Click Save Widget Changes.

On your Wall of Fame page
Open your wall and click Wall of Fame Page.
Open the Wall Display Settings panel and find Pagination option.
Turn on Enable pagination on the Wall of Fame page.
Set the Number of testimonials to show before Load More, and optionally the button text and colours.
Click Save Wall of Fame Changes.
Without pagination, the Wall of Fame page loads every testimonial at once.
Carousels and dual sliders show only the first batch
The widget setting is called "Grid Embeds", but it also applies to carousel and dual slider widgets. They don't have a Load More button, so they only ever show the first batch. If your carousel shows exactly 10 testimonials when you have more, this is why. Raise the number, or turn pagination off, and save.
Good to know
The Load More button is small and its text is shown in capital letters. Keep the text short, like "More" or "Show more".
The number of testimonials needs a value. Leaving the box empty stops your changes from saving.
When visitors pick a category, the batches restart from that category's first testimonials.
