🙈How to hide star ratings on your testimonial widget

There's no single switch to hide stars in a widget. Stars show whenever a testimonial has a rating, so you remove the rating from the testimonials where you don't want stars.

Stars appear on a testimonial card whenever that testimonial has a star rating. There's no widget-wide setting to hide them. To show a testimonial without stars, clear its rating.

Remove the rating from a testimonial

1. Open your wall. My Testimonials opens by default.

2. Find the testimonial and click Edit on its card.

3. Next to the stars under Rating, click Clear.

4. Click Save Testimonial.

Clear removes the rating from this testimonial only

The stars disappear from that card in your widget, your Wall of Fame page and everywhere else the testimonial is shown. Repeat for each testimonial.

Stop collecting ratings

If you don't want ratings on new testimonials, turn off Ask for Rating on your collection page. See How to choose which details customers fill in.

Good to know

• The review banner's average rating counts testimonials without a rating as 5 stars. See How the average rating banner works.

• You can change the colour of the stars instead of hiding them, with Rating Color in the widget's Testimonial Card Customization panel. That needs a paid plan.
