📨How to send your widget's embed code to your developer

Send your widget's embed code to whoever manages your website, in one click, straight from the embed window.

If someone else looks after your website, you don't need to copy and paste the embed code into an email yourself. The embed window can write the email for you.

Steps

  1. Open your wall and click Testimonial Widget.

  2. Make sure the widget is published, then click Get Embed.

  3. Pick the layout you want: Grid Embed, Carousel Embed, Dual Slider Embed or Popup Embed.

  4. Under the code, click Not the person who edits the site? Email this code to your developer.

  5. Your email app opens with a subject line and the embed code already in the message. Add your developer's email address and send it.

Good to know

  • The link uses the email app set as default on your computer. If nothing opens, click Copy Embed code instead and paste the code into your email.

  • For carousels, the email contains the normal carousel code, not the autoplay version. If you want autoplay, mention it to your developer. See How to make your testimonial carousel slide automatically.

  • If your website runs on WordPress or Wix, there may be no need for code at all: the embed window links to the Famewall plugin and app under Using WordPress or Wix?.
