🌙How to switch your widget to dark mode and choose a dark card style

Switch your testimonial widget to dark cards with light text for dark websites, and choose between the gradient and plain dark card styles.

If your website has a dark background, light testimonial cards can look out of place. Dark mode gives your widget dark cards with light text.

Steps

Open your wall and click Testimonial Widget.
Open the Testimonial Card Customization panel and find Dark Mode.
Turn on Dark Mode.
Click Dark Mode Card Theme and pick a style:
- Gradient Card Theme: a black card that fades slightly towards the bottom.
- Plain Card Theme: a solid charcoal card.
Click Save Widget Changes.

Card backgrounds turn dark and the text turns light. If you've picked your own Font Color, that colour is kept, so check your text is still easy to read.
The review banner switches to its dark style.
The background behind your widget stays the same. Change it with Wall Background in the Branding Customization panel if you need to.

Turning dark mode on or off resets any custom Card Color you picked. Set your card colour again afterwards if you use one.
If you set a Card Color while dark mode is on, your colour is used for the cards and the text stays light. Pick a matching Font Color if the text is hard to read.
The AI Review Summary has its own dark style switch, Use dark mode styling for AI summary, in the Widget Settings panel.
Dark mode is available on every plan.
