# Displaying Social Proof Avatars

Use Social Proof Avatars to show a compact group of customer profile photos on your website. This works well near call-to-action sections, signup forms, hero sections, and other places where you want quick visual proof that real people trust you.

## When to use this

Use Social Proof Avatars when you want to:

* Show a small stack of customer avatars.
* Link avatars to customer profiles, testimonials, or proof pages.
* Add social proof without taking up as much space as a full testimonial widget.
* Embed the same avatar collection on multiple pages.

## Before you start

Prepare the profile images you want to use. Use photos or avatars you have permission to display publicly.

## Create an avatar collection

1. Open the Famewall dashboard.
2. Click **Social Proof Avatars** in the sidebar.
3. Click **Create Collection** or **Create New Avatar Collection**.
4. Add a name for the collection.
5. Open the collection.
6. Click **Add Social Proof Avatars** and add your avatars.

## Customize and publish the collection

1. Open the avatar collection.
2. Adjust the display settings such as avatar size, layout, and alignment.
3. Reorder avatars if needed.
4. Click **Save & Publish Collection**.
5. Click **Get Embed** to copy the embed code.

## Common issues

### The preview shows sample avatars

Add your first avatars to unlock the real preview.

### The avatars do not appear on my website

Make sure the collection is published and that the embed code was added to the published version of your website.
