🔖How to change the title, description, favicon and share image of your collection page and Wall of Fa

Change the browser tab title, Google description, favicon and the image shown when your collection page or Wall of Fame link is shared on LinkedIn, X, Slack or WhatsApp.

When someone shares your collection page or Wall of Fame link, apps like LinkedIn, X, Slack and WhatsApp show a preview with a title, a description and an image. The same title appears in the browser tab and in Google results. You can set all of these yourself.

Steps

  1. Open your wall and click Collection Page or Wall of Fame Page in the left menu.

  2. Open the Search & Social Preview Configuration panel.

  3. Fill in:

    • SEO Page Title: the browser tab title and the headline of link previews.

    • SEO Meta Description: the short text under the headline in link previews and Google results.

    • Favicon Icon: the small icon in the browser tab. Click Select Custom Favicon Image.

    • Open Graph Image: the picture in link previews. Click Select Open Graph Image. The recommended size is 1200 × 630 pixels.

  4. Save your changes with Save Edit Changes (collection page) or Save Wall of Fame Changes (Wall of Fame page).

If you don't set a share image

Famewall falls back to your logo: the brand logo for collection pages, the wall logo for Wall of Fame pages. If there's no logo either, a default Famewall image is used.

Good to know

  • The title and description work on every plan. The favicon and the share image need a paid plan.

  • The title and description can be changed but not emptied. To remove the Famewall wording, write your own instead.

  • After a change, link previews can take a few minutes to update, and social networks keep their own copy for longer. To refresh a preview straight away, paste your link into LinkedIn's Post Inspector or Facebook's Sharing Debugger.

  • If you use automatic translation on your Wall of Fame page, visitors see a translated tab title, but link previews always use your original wording.

  • There's no option to hide a published page from search engines. To take a page offline, unpublish it.
