📛How to change your wall's name, URL or logo (and what happens to your links)

Rename a wall, change its logo or description, or change its URL, and what happens to your existing links and embed codes when the URL changes.

Every wall has a name, a URL, a logo and a description. You can change all four from Wall Settings. Changing the name, logo or description is safe at any time. Changing the URL breaks your existing links, so read the warning below first.

Steps

  1. Open your wall.

  2. Click Wall Settings in the top bar.

  3. Change the Name of the wall, the Wall URL, the Wall Logo or the Description.

  4. Click Save Changes.

The Edit Wall of Fame window opened from Wall Settings, with the Name of the wall, Wall URL, Wall Logo and Description fields
Wall Settings holds the wall's name, URL, logo and description

Where the wall URL is used

Your wall URL is part of every public link and embed for that wall:

  • Wall of Fame page: https://wall.famewall.io/your-url

  • Collection page: https://page.famewall.io/your-url

  • Testimonial widget embed codes

Wall URL rules

  • Letters, numbers, hyphens (-) and underscores (_) only. No spaces.

  • Up to 50 characters.

  • It must be unique across all of Famewall. If someone else already uses it, you'll see a message that the URL is taken.

  • Capital letters matter: Acme and acme are different URLs. Lowercase is easiest to share.

Good to know

  • The logo can be a PNG, JPG or WEBP file up to 10 MB. SVG files aren't supported.

  • A description can be changed but not removed. If you empty the field, the old description comes back.

  • The name, logo and description are also shown on your Wall of Fame page. Editing them in the Wall of Fame Page tab changes the same fields.
