🎞️How to change the thumbnail (cover image) of a video testimonial
Replace the cover image of a video testimonial with your own picture. The new thumbnail shows in your dashboard, widget and Wall of Fame page.
The thumbnail is the still image visitors see before they press play. By default it's taken from the video, which sometimes catches the customer mid-blink. You can upload your own image instead.
Steps
Open your wall. My Testimonials opens by default.
Under the video testimonial, click Custom Thumbnail.
Click to choose an image, or drag one into the window. Images up to 5 MB work.
Click Upload.
The new thumbnail appears in your dashboard, your widgets and your Wall of Fame page.
Go back to the original thumbnail
Click Custom Thumbnail again and click Delete.
Good to know
Custom thumbnails work for videos recorded on your collection page or uploaded to Famewall. YouTube, TikTok and Loom videos use the thumbnail from their own platform.
A clear photo of the customer's face, or your brand colours with their name, makes people more likely to press play.
