# Why does a testimonial say "Testimonial locked" or "Hidden - 10/10 limit reached"?

What "Testimonial locked", "Video testimonial locked" and "Hidden - 10/10 limit reached" mean, and how to get those testimonials back.

These labels mean a testimonial is over your plan's limit. It's safely stored in your account, but it's hidden until you upgrade.

## "Testimonial locked" in Collected Testimonials

On the Free plan, a wall can hold 10 testimonials. When a customer submits a new testimonial while the wall is full, it's saved as locked: blurred, with **Upgrade to unlock**.

Video and audio submissions are locked the same way when you've reached your plan's video or audio limit: 1 on Free and 6 on Standard. Professional, Business and Agency have no practical limit.

## "Hidden - 10/10 limit reached (Upgrade your plan)" in My Testimonials

If your account moves to the Free plan, for example when a paid subscription ends, only 10 testimonials stay visible on your widgets and Wall of Fame pages. The rest are marked **Hidden - 10/10 limit reached (Upgrade your plan)**. Video testimonials over the limit show **Hidden on Embeds & Walls**.

## How to unlock them

Upgrade your plan. Upgrading unlocks testimonials that were locked or hidden because of your plan's limits. If one still shows as locked or hidden after you've upgraded, contact us through the chat in your dashboard.

Deleting other testimonials to make room doesn't unlock a testimonial that's already locked or hidden.

## Good to know

* Nothing is deleted. Locked and hidden testimonials keep all their details.
* Locked submissions aren't added to your wall by auto-approval, even if it's turned on.
* On the Free plan, archiving a testimonial frees a space on that wall for new ones.
