🔗How to import testimonials from your website or another tool (Import via URL)

Copy testimonials from any web page, such as your own website or a page built with another testimonial tool, into Famewall in one go.

If your testimonials are already on a web page, for example your website's testimonials page or a page made with another testimonial tool, Famewall can read them from the page for you. You then pick the ones you want to add.

Steps

1. Open your wall and click Import Testimonials in the left menu.

2. Under Any website, choose Import via URL.

3. Paste the address of the page that shows the testimonials into Webpage URL.

4. Click Get Reviews from URL and wait while Famewall reads the page. It can take a minute.

5. Tick the testimonials you want and click Add to wall.

The testimonials are added to the top of your wall as text testimonials.

Good to know

• Famewall reads one page per import. If your testimonials are spread across several pages, import each page separately.

• It can also read many testimonial widgets embedded on a page.

• On the Free plan, up to 12 testimonials are found per page. Paid plans find up to 60.

• Testimonials that only have a star rating and no text are skipped.

• You can't edit testimonials before adding them. Edit them on your wall afterwards.

• Importing the same page twice adds duplicates. To get only new testimonials from a page you've imported before, use Re-sync on paid plans. See How to pull in new reviews since your last import.
