# Creating a Testimonial Wall

A testimonial wall is a collection of testimonials that you can add to your website. Here's how you can create a wall of fame

Then proceed to fill in the details about the wall. 2 of the fields are mandatory and marked with a red asterisk (\*)

**Wall Name** is the name of the wall that would be displayed to customers when they visit your published wall

**Wall URL** is a unique identifier for your wall which could be the full or shortened version of your wall name

<figure><img src="/files/1RyOiIww3AOo7QDvpGRF" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Wall logo** represents your brand logo on the published wall.

**Wall Description** provides a brief description of your product when visitors have a look at your custom wall page

# Editing Testimonial Wall

# Analytics

Track how your testimonial wall is performing and understand visitor engagement.

Use Analytics to understand how visitors interact with a testimonial wall. This is useful when you want to know whether people are seeing your testimonials and whether a wall is worth improving, moving, or promoting more.

## When to use this

Use this page when you want to:

* Check how a testimonial wall is performing.
* Compare engagement before and after changing where testimonials appear on your website.
* Decide which wall or widget deserves more attention.
* Review whether recent testimonial updates changed visitor behavior.

## Before you start

Make sure you have:

* A Famewall account.
* At least one testimonial wall.
* A published wall, widget, or embed that has had time to receive views.

Analytics are most useful after your wall or widget has been live for a while. If you just published it, wait for visitors to interact with it before judging the numbers.

## Open analytics for a wall

1. Open the Famewall dashboard.
2. Choose the testimonial wall you want to review.
3. In the wall sidebar, click **Analytics**.
4. Review the available performance numbers for that wall.

## How to use the numbers

Look for patterns instead of checking a single number in isolation.

For example, if you recently moved a wall higher on your landing page, compare the analytics before and after that change. If views or engagement improved, that placement is probably helping visitors notice your social proof.

## Common issues

### I do not see much data yet

This usually means the wall or widget has not received enough visits. Make sure the wall is published and linked from a page people actually visit.

### The numbers look lower than expected

Check whether the wall is easy to find on your website. Testimonials placed too far down a page often get fewer views.

# Customer Pulse Insights

Analyze collected testimonials to understand what customers value, mention, and need.

Use Customer Pulse Insights to turn your collected testimonials into quick customer insight reports. Instead of reading every testimonial manually, you can ask Famewall to summarize patterns such as what customers like, which pain points you solved, and which words people keep using.

## When to use this

Use Customer Pulse Insights when you want to:

* Find what customers like most about your product or service.
* Identify your strongest selling points in your customers' own words.
* Understand which pain points your testimonials mention most often.
* Pull out repeated phrases you can reuse in landing page copy, emails, or ads.
* Get ideas for improving your product or offer.

## Before you start

You will get better results when the wall has several detailed testimonials. Very short testimonials can still be useful, but they give the analysis less context.

Make sure you have:

* A Famewall account.
* A testimonial wall with collected or approved testimonials.
* Enough testimonials for the analysis to spot real patterns.

## Run a Customer Pulse analysis

1. Open the Famewall dashboard.
2. Choose the testimonial wall you want to analyze.
3. In the wall sidebar, click **Customer Pulse Insights**.
4. Choose the analysis type you want to run.
5. Review the generated insight.

## Analysis types

You can use Customer Pulse to answer questions like:

* What do customers like the most?
* What are your key strengths?
* Which pain points did you help customers solve?
* Which keywords are mentioned most often?
* What actionable improvements can you make?
* How do customers describe your brand?

## Tips for better results

Use testimonials that include specific outcomes, objections, or details. A testimonial like "Great tool" is nice, but a testimonial explaining what changed for the customer gives Customer Pulse much more to work with.

## Common issues

### The insight feels too generic

Add more detailed testimonials to the wall and run the analysis again. The output depends on the quality and depth of the testimonials available.

### I cannot run another analysis

Some plans may have usage limits. If you have reached a limit, wait until you have more credits available or upgrade your plan.

* Add review schema markup to your website.
* Show a review rating or stats widget on a landing page.
* Copy the correct snippets from Famewall instead of building them manually.
* Validate that your review markup was added correctly.

## Before you start

Make sure you have:

* A testimonial wall with approved testimonials.
* Access to edit your website.
* A page where you want to add the schema or stats widget.

Review Schema and Review Stats are paid-plan features.

## Add the review schema snippet

1. Open the Famewall dashboard.
2. Choose the testimonial wall you want to use.
3. In the wall sidebar, click **Review Schema and Stats Snippet**.
4. Copy the review schema snippet.
5. Paste it into the `<head>` section of your website.
6. Save and publish your website changes.

## Add the review stats widget

1. In the same page, find the **Review Stats Widget** section.
2. Copy the review stats code.
3. Paste it where you want the review stats to appear on your website.
4. Publish the page and check the live version.

## Validate the schema

After adding the schema snippet, test the page with a structured data validator such as Google's Schema Markup Validator. Search engines can take time to process changes, so do not expect search results to update immediately.

## Common issues

### The snippet does not appear to work

Make sure the code was pasted into the correct part of your website and that your website changes were published, not just saved as a draft.

### Search results do not show stars immediately

Search engines decide when and whether to show rich results. Adding schema makes your page eligible, but it does not guarantee an immediate visual change in search results.

# Bulk Import Testimonials

When you have testimonials in a CSV file, you can easily import them into Famewall with the Bulk Import option. Here's how you can do it

The bulk import option comes in handy when you have testimonials > 50 and want to import them all into Famewall to be displayed on widgets or wall of fame pages

Note that the bulk import option doesn't work for video testimonials currently

Here is a [**SAMPLE CSV file**](http://cdn.famewall.io/public_dashboard/sample_file.csv) that would work with Famewall's bulk import option

To bulk import testimonials, simply click on "Import Testimonials"

And then click on "Bulk Import CSV"

<figure><img src="/files/mhLnEkU6k4bEJzo4aDRm" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Then simply map the fields in your CSV file with the fields on Famewall.

<figure><img src="/files/YDaC8ZpZlZ4TNtVPKfNq" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Here's an explanation of each of the fields:

1. author\_name: This field refers to the name of the person who's given the testimonial\
   eg. John Doe
2. author\_image: This field can contain a URL to the image of the person who's given the testimonial\
   eg. <https://i.imgur.com/G9HjJot.jpeg>
3. work\_title: This field refers to the designation of the person who gave the testimonial\
   eg. Marketing Manager
4. message\_content: This field refers to the content of the testimonial\
   eg. "Was blown away by how easy it was to get started with testimonials and share them from a single place"
5. star\_rating: This field can contain a number between 1-5 which would indicate the star rating left by the testimonial giver\
   eg. 5
6. message\_link: This field can contain the link to the author's social media page/website\
   eg. <https://world.hey.com/jason>
7. media\_image: This field can contain URL to an image/screenshot which would appear below the contents of the testimonial
8. testimonial\_type: This field contains the type of testimonial\
   (Text, Twitter, Linkedin, Reddit, Playstore, Appstore, Producthunt, Trustpilot, Picture, Google, G2, Capterra, Shopify, Facebook, Slack, Amazon, Discord, Youtube, Instagram, Designrush, Telegram, Whatsapp, Goodfirms, Clutch, Yelp)
9. categories: This field needs to contain categories which you'd like to put your testimonials into. If you want a testimonial to have multiple categories, separate them with ':'\
   eg. social proof:compliment
10. message\_time: This field can contain the time when the testimonial was submitted\
    eg. 2025-01-02T09:37:53.993Z

Also ensure that if you're importing testimonials from platforms like X, Linkedin etc in bulk then have a separate column to map to "testimonial\_type" in Famewall (possible values listed below). Otherwise the testimonials will be imported as text testimonials

Once you're done click on "Confirm Import"

The testimonials will be imported in just a few minutes

# Displaying Logo Slider Widget

Create logo slider widgets to show customer, partner, or publication logos on your website.

Use the Logo Slider to display customer, partner, press, or community logos on your website. It is a simple way to show who trusts you without adding a full testimonial section.

## When to use this

Use a logo slider when you want to:

* Show logos from customers, partners, or publications.
* Add a lightweight social proof section to a landing page.
* Reuse the same logo strip across multiple pages.
* Keep logo proof separate from testimonial cards.

## Before you start

Prepare the logos you want to upload. For the cleanest result, use logos with similar dimensions and transparent backgrounds where possible.

## Create a logo slider

1. Open the Famewall dashboard.
2. Click **Logo Slider** in the sidebar.
3. Click **Create Logo Slider**.
4. Add a name for the slider.
5. Upload or add the logos you want to show.
6. Save the slider.

## Customize a logo slider

1. Open **Logo Slider** from the dashboard.
2. Select the slider you want to edit.
3. Update the logos, order, styling, or display settings.
4. Save your changes.

## Add the slider to your website

After the slider is ready, copy the embed code from the slider editor and paste it into the page where you want the logos to appear.

## Common issues

### The slider looks uneven

Use logos with similar aspect ratios. Mixing very tall and very wide logos can make the slider look inconsistent.

### I need different logos on different pages

Create separate logo sliders for separate use cases. For example, you can keep customer logos on your homepage and partner logos on a partnership page.

# Connect AI Agents (MCP)

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or your own AI agent to Famewall so it can read, add, and tidy up your testimonials just by chatting.

Famewall can plug straight into the AI assistants you already use.&#x20;

Once connected, you can ask **Claude** or **ChatGPT** things like *"show me my newest testimonials"* or *"add this 5-star review to my homepage wall"* and it happens, without you opening the dashboard.

You can also connect your own **autonomous agent** (an AI that runs on its own, like an n8n workflow or a script) so it can work with your testimonials around the clock.

{% hint style="info" %}
**What is MCP?** MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way that AI assistants connect to outside tools. You don't need to understand how it works. Think of it as a secure doorway that lets your AI assistant talk to your Famewall account. You stay in control of what it's allowed to do, and you can disconnect at any time.
{% endhint %}

## What you'll need

* A Famewall account.
* One AI assistant: **Claude**, **ChatGPT**, or your own agent.
* **2–3 minutes.** No code required for Claude or ChatGPT.

## Your Famewall MCP address

Everything connects using one web address. This is the only value you'll ever need to paste:

```
https://api.famewall.io/mcp
```

You can copy it straight from the **Connect AI Agents** page in your Famewall dashboard (there's a **Copy URL** button next to it).

## Connect your AI

Pick the assistant you use. Claude and ChatGPT sign you in securely with your Famewall account — there's **no key to copy or paste**.

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="Claude" %}
**Takes about 2 minutes.** Works on Claude on the web and the Claude desktop app.

1. Open **Claude** and go to **Settings → Connectors**.
2. Click **Add custom connector**.
3. When Claude asks for the connector URL, paste your Famewall address:

   ```
   https://api.famewall.io/mcp
   ```
4. Click **Connect**, sign in with your **Famewall** account, and pick what Claude is allowed to do.
5. You're connected! Open any chat and just ask it to work with your testimonials.

{% hint style="success" %}
**Try this first:** *"Show me my 5 most recent testimonials."*
{% endhint %}
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="ChatGPT" %}
**Takes about 3 minutes.** Connectors live in ChatGPT's settings.

1. In **ChatGPT**, open **Settings → Security** and turn on Developer mode.
2. Go to Plugins and click the + button. Give it a name like "Famewall"
3. Under "Connection" choose "Public endpoint" and paste this Famewall address:
4. ```
   https://api.famewall.io/mcp
   ```
5. Continue, then **sign in with your Famewall account** to authorize it.
6. You're connected! Ask ChatGPT to pull up or add testimonials for you.
{% hint style="success" %}
**Try this first:** *"What submissions are waiting for me to review in Famewall?"*
{% endhint %}
{% endtab %}
{% tab title="Autonomous agent" %}
For AI agents that run on their own, 24/7 — tools like **n8n**, the **OpenAI Agents SDK**, the **Claude Agent SDK**, and your own scripts built on the MCP SDK.
Because these agents can't click a "Sign in" button, they authenticate with a **secret key** instead.
1. **Point your agent at the Famewall MCP address:**
   ```
   https://api.famewall.io/mcp
   ```
2. **Generate a secret key.** On the **Connect AI Agents** page in Famewall, open the **Autonomous agent** tab and click **Generate Key**. Your key starts with `fw_ag_`. Copy it now as it's only shown once.
3. **Send that key as a Bearer token on every request:**
   ```
   Authorization: Bearer fw_ag_your_key_here
   ```
{% hint style="warning" %}
**Keep this key server-side.** Anyone who has it can act on your Famewall account. Never put it in browser code, a public repository, a screenshot, or anywhere a person could copy it.
{% endhint %}
{% endtab %}
{% endtabs %}
## Try it: first prompts to type
Not sure where to start? Paste any of these into your connected assistant:
* *"Show me my 5 most recent testimonials."*
* *"Add a 5-star testimonial from Jane Doe that says 'Best tool I've used all year.'"*
* *"Search my testimonials for anything that mentions 'support'."*
* *"How many testimonials do I have in total?"*
* *"What submissions are waiting for me to review?"*
* *"Fix the typo in that testimonial and update the author's job title."*
* *"Rename my 'default' wall to 'Customer Love'."*
Your assistant will always tell you what it did and confirm it back to you.
## What it can do once connected
Your AI assistant can help with four kinds of tasks. You choose which of these to allow when you connect (see [Choosing what it can access](#choosing-what-it-can-access)).
**📖 Look things up**
* Pull up your latest testimonials, or open a specific one.
* Search across your testimonials by keyword, wall, star rating, or type.
* Get a quick count of your walls, testimonials, and pending submissions.
**➕ Add testimonials by chat**
* Paste a customer's words and have them added to the right wall — formatted and attributed, with a rating and links if you have them.
**✏️ Tidy up wording**
* Fix a typo, polish an author's job title, or correct a link on an existing testimonial.
* Rename a wall or update its description.
**📥 Check what's waiting**
* See the submissions that came in through your collection form, so you know what's ready for you to review.
### Full list of abilities
For the technically curious, here's everything the assistant can do, with the exact tool name and the permission each one needs:
| Plain-English action                                  | Tool                         | Permission needed       |
| ----------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------- | ----------------------- |
| List your walls                                       | `list_walls`                 | View your walls         |
| Open one wall (with its testimonial count)            | `get_wall`                   | View your walls         |
| List testimonials on a wall                           | `list_testimonials`          | Read your testimonials  |
| Open one testimonial                                  | `get_testimonial`            | Read your testimonials  |
| Search testimonials by text, wall, rating or type     | `search_testimonials`        | Read your testimonials  |
| Count walls, testimonials & pending submissions       | `get_account_usage`          | View account insights   |
| See submissions waiting for review                    | `list_collected_submissions` | View submissions        |
| Add a text testimonial to a wall                      | `add_text_testimonial`       | Add & edit testimonials |
| Edit a testimonial's wording, author, rating or links | `update_testimonial`         | Add & edit testimonials |
| Rename a wall or change its description               | `update_wall_settings`       | Edit your walls         |
## Choosing what it can access
When you connect Claude or ChatGPT, Famewall shows you a permissions screen. **Tick only what you need** — you can always allow more later. Each permission unlocks a group of abilities:
| Permission                  | What it lets your assistant do                        |
| --------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| **View your walls**         | See your walls of love and their settings.            |
| **Read your testimonials**  | Browse and search the testimonials you've collected.  |
| **View submissions**        | See responses waiting from your collection forms.     |
| **View account insights**   | Read your usage, plan, and account stats.             |
| **Add & edit testimonials** | Create new testimonials and tidy up existing wording. |
| **Edit your walls**         | Update wall names and descriptions.                   |
{% hint style="info" %}
You may also see options for features that are still rolling out (like reviewing submissions). Leave those unticked if you don't need them yet.
{% endhint %}
## Managing your autonomous agent key
Your `fw_ag_` key only matters for the **Autonomous agent** option. Claude and ChatGPT never use one. From the **Connect AI Agents** page you can:
* **Regenerate** the key — this creates a fresh key and **immediately stops the old one from working**. Update your agent with the new key afterward.
* **Revoke** the key — this permanently switches off autonomous access until you generate a new key.
Regenerate if you think a key may have leaked; revoke if you want to shut off an agent entirely.
## Rate limits
There's a fair-use limit of roughly **120 requests per minute** per connection. If an assistant goes over it, requests return a rate-limit error - just wait a minute and try again. Normal chatting will never come close to this.
## Troubleshooting
### I can't find where to add a connector
* **Claude:** Custom connectors live under **Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector**. If you don't see it, make sure your Claude app is up to date.
* **ChatGPT:** You must turn on **Developer mode** first, then connectors appear under **Settings → Connectors**.
### It asks me to sign in again, or says "unauthorized"
Your secure session with Famewall expired. Reconnect the connector and sign in again. It only takes a moment.
### My autonomous agent gets an "unauthorized" error
* Make sure you're sending the key as `Authorization: Bearer fw_ag_...` with **no extra spaces**.
* If you recently **regenerated** or **revoked** the key, the old one no longer works - generate a new key and update your agent.
### I hit a rate-limit error
You're sending requests too quickly. Wait about a minute and try again.
# Webhook Integration
Webhooks automatically send real-time event updates happening on Famewall to your other tools & systems
For instance, if you have messaging systems like Slack, Discord which could integrate with APIs, you can use Famewall's webhooks to receive a notification whenever a customer submits you a testimonial
Select the "Automation" tab in the sidebar and click on the "Webhook" button
<figure><img src="/files/sqcHJJjBTvwiOx6KLTxT" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
Enter the Webhook Endpoint URL where you'd like to receive all the webhook events. And then click on the checkboxes of the type of events.
Here are the Event Types:
1. testimonial\_collected: Triggered when a customer submits a text/video testimonial on the testimonial collection page (eg. when a customer sends a testimonial on [Famewall's collection page](https://page.famewall.io/famewall))
2. testimonial\_approved: Triggered when you approve a collected testimonial by clicking "Add to Wall" in Famewall dashboard
Here is the code in Javascript to receive the payload and verify that the incoming event is authentic as coming from Famewall
```
const crypto = require('crypto');

function verifyFamewallSignature(payload, receivedSignature) {

  const hmac = crypto.createHmac('sha256', WEBHOOK_SECRET_KEY);
  const calculatedSignature = hmac.update(payload, 'utf-8').digest('base64');

  const isValid = crypto.timingSafeEqual(
    Buffer.from(calculatedSignature, 'base64'),
    Buffer.from(receivedSignature, 'base64')
  );

  return isValid;
}

app.post('/webhook', function(req,res,next){
    // Verify the payload
    const isPayloadValid = verifyFamewallSignature(JSON.stringify(req.body), req.headers['x-webhook-signature']);

    if (isPayloadValid) {
      console.log('Payload is valid. Process the webhook.');
      //verification valid

    } else {
      console.log('Payload is not valid. Discard the webhook.');
      //verification invalid
    }
} )

```
# Kit Integration
Ask your Kit subscribers for testimonials, and show the ones you already have inside your Kit emails. No code, about five minutes.
Famewall connects to [Kit](https://kit.com/) (formerly ConvertKit) as an app you install once. After that you get 4 new blocks in the Kit editor:
* **Ask for a testimonial** - turns any email into a testimonial request.
* **Testimonial** - one testimonial as a designed card.
* **Video or audio testimonial** - the thumbnail, a play button and a link to the recording.
* **Wall of love** - a row of customer faces, the count, and a link to your wall.
<figure><img src="/files/g8SrBsxEFnxIcwnxl6bG" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
Your email list is the warmest audience you have, and they are already opening your emails. So the block worth setting up first is **Ask for a testimonial**.
## What you'll need
* A **Kit account on a paid plan**. Kit requires this to install any app.
* A **Famewall account**. Every plan works, including the free one.
* At least **one wall** in Famewall. If it already has published testimonials, the display blocks will have something to show.
## Step 1: Install Famewall from the Kit App Store
In Kit, go to **Automate → Apps**, find **Famewall**, and click **Install**.
<figure><img src="/files/XQWVo97xBs4xG1JlTGQ9" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
## Step 2: Connect your Famewall account
Kit will send you to a Famewall page that asks you to approve the connection. Sign in if you are not already, then click **Connect**. You will land back in Kit.
{% hint style="info" %}
**There is nothing to copy or paste.** No API key, no token, no wall ID. You approve once, and Kit and Famewall handle the rest. You can disconnect at any time - see the last section.
{% endhint %}
## Step 3: Add a Famewall block to an email
Open a broadcast or a sequence email. Click **+** to open the element menu — or just type **/** — and pick the Famewall block you want.
<figure><img src="/files/g8SrBsxEFnxIcwnxl6bG" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
Every block has its settings in the right-hand sidebar, and every block has a **Wall** or **Testimonial** field. Leave **Wall** blank and Famewall uses your most recent wall, so a freshly dropped block already shows something real.
## Step 4: Ask for a testimonial
This is the block that grows your testimonial collection. It puts a short request and a button into your email; the button opens your Famewall collection page, where subscribers can leave a written, video or audio testimonial. They do not need an account.
| Setting                               | What it does                                                                                                                                                                                                         |
| ------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Wall**                              | Which wall the testimonial gets collected into. Blank = your most recent wall.                                                                                                                                       |
| **Wording**                           | **Quick ask** uses short built-in copy. **From my form** pulls the exact heading, message, question and placeholder you already wrote on your Famewall collection page. So the email and the page read as one thing. |
| **Style**                             | **Button only** is compact and drops into any email. **Form preview** draws your actual form - the prompt, the star row and the field. So people can see what they are being asked for.                              |
| **Heading / Message / Button label**  | Your own wording. Anything you type here overrides the wording setting.                                                                                                                                              |
| **Rating prompt / Field placeholder** | Only shown in the **Form preview** style.                                                                                                                                                                            |
| **Card theme**                        | Light, Dark, or Transparent (lets your email background show through).                                                                                                                                               |
| **Colours**                           | Accent, star, text, card background and border.                                                                                                                                                                      |
{% hint style="success" %}
**A good place for this block is the bottom of an email you were already sending.** You do not need a dedicated campaign. a 2 line ask under your usual content converts well because the reader is already engaged.
{% endhint %}
## Step 5: Show a testimonial
The **Testimonial** block shows **one** testimonial as a designed card. Search for the one you want in the **Testimonial** field the search looks across all of your walls.
**Card design** gives you nine layouts a tightened classic, a centred spotlight, a serif quote plate, a single-line signature bar, a ledger-style note, a magazine pull-quote, a soft gradient, a score-first chip, and an offset block. Switch between them and the block re-renders straight away.
This block works with everything except video and audio: typed testimonials, imported tweets, Google, Trustpilot and G2 reviews, LinkedIn posts and screenshots.
{% hint style="info" %}
**Want three testimonials in a row?** Add the block three times. That way you keep control of what sits between them, and each card can have its own design.
{% endhint %}
## Step 6: Show a video or audio testimonial
Video and audio testimonials share one block. You get the video's thumbnail (or a waveform, for audio), a play button, the person's name, a quote from what they said, and a button that opens the full recording.
| Setting                        | What it does                                                                                                                             |
| ------------------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Video or audio testimonial** | Search your video and audio testimonials.                                                                                                |
| **Watch button**               | **Hide** removes the button if you have already written your own "watch it here" line. The thumbnail and the play button still link out. |
| **Card theme / Colours**       | Same options as the other blocks.                                                                                                        |
<figure><img src="/files/Ft4JKBUHgRh8oGNiiChM" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
{% hint style="warning" %}
**Video does not play inside an email.** No email tool can do this — email clients strip video players out. The card shows the thumbnail with a play button and opens the recording in the browser when clicked, which is what every well-behaved email does.
{% endhint %}
## Step 7: Show your wall of love
The **Wall of love** block shows a row of up to six customer faces, how many testimonials you have in total, and a link to your public wall.
Set your own **Heading** and **Link label**, or leave them blank for the defaults.
<figure><img src="/files/NKKdHRzLOUohk8FoD8mw" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
## Step 8: Send yourself a test
Before you send to your list, use Kit's test send and open the email on your phone as well as your desktop.
## Keeping it up to date
The blocks read live from Famewall.&#x20;
Approve a new testimonial in your Famewall dashboard or set it to autoapprove.&#x20;
Then hit the block's refresh in Kit and the new content appears. There is nothing to reinstall, re-copy or re-upload.
Colours work the same way: any colour you have not set in Kit is filled in from your wall's branding, so a wall with a brand color arrives in Kit already on-brand.
## What works where
**In an email**, Kit strips out scripts, iframes, video players and form fields as every email tool does, for security.&#x20;
So the Famewall blocks are built as plain email-safe HTML. They arrive intact, reflow on a phone, stay readable when images are blocked, and are real selectable text rather than a screenshot.
**On a landing page or form**, none of that applies, because Kit lets you run scripts there. That is where the full interactive widget goes, and where video plays in place.
## Troubleshooting
| What you see                                                   | What to do                                                                                                                                 |
| -------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **"Reconnect your Famewall account"**                          | The connection was disconnected or expired. Go to **Automate → Apps** in Kit, open Famewall, and connect again.                            |
| **The block says there are no testimonials yet**               | The wall it points at has no published testimonials. Publish some in Famewall, or pick a different wall in the block's **Wall** field.     |
| **A testimonial I just added isn't showing**                   | Approve it in Famewall first, then refresh the block in Kit.                                                                               |
| **I can't find my video testimonial in the Testimonial block** | Video and audio testimonials have their own block - use **Video or audio testimonial**.                                                    |
| **The block looks blank in the editor**                        | Change any setting to force a re-render. If it is a widget on a landing page instead, publish the page - scripts do not run in the editor. |
## Disconnecting
You can disconnect from either side:
* **In Kit** - go to **Automate → Apps** and uninstall Famewall.
* **In Famewall** - open **Platform Apps** in your dashboard and disconnect Kit.
Disconnecting stops the blocks from loading. It does not delete anything - your testimonials, walls and collection pages are untouched, and reconnecting brings the blocks straight back.
{% hint style="info" %}
**Famewall never reads your Kit subscribers.** The integration only sends your own testimonials into Kit. We do not call Kit's API, and we do not see, store or export your list.
# Sharing Single Testimonials
You can share single testimonials as a link on email newsletters, calendly meetings and much more
You can share testimonials as a standalone link - and once your customers click on that link, they'll see confetti animation
Here's how you can do it
Head over to "My Testimonials" and click on "Share" option in your testimonials
<figure><img src="/files/v9E8EL0lt4aaU6oVKGzO" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
This would show 2 options - Getting the link or getting the embed code. You can copy the link and paste it in a new window
<figure><img src="/files/HNdCgkmTUe0N9gw5QSfB" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
Now you would see an animation with confetti and your users would also see this when they click on the link
