👋How to add a personal welcome video to your collection page
Greet customers with a short video on your collection page. A personal ask from you makes people more likely to leave a testimonial.
A short video of you asking for feedback makes your collection page feel personal. It plays at the top of the page, right under your message, before customers choose how to share their testimonial.
Steps
Open your wall and click Collection Page in the left menu.
Open the Testimonial Home Page & Configuration panel.
Under Upload personalized video, click Upload video and choose your video file.
Click Save Edit Changes.
Keep the tab open while the video uploads. Famewall shows a message until it's done.
To remove the video, click the × next to it and save again.
Tips for a good welcome video
Keep it short, ideally under a minute. Say who you are, why their story matters and what you'd like them to talk about.
Videos longer than 5 minutes aren't supported.
Good to know
Personalized videos need a paid plan. On the Free plan the upload box shows Upgrade plan to upload personalized video.
If you're creating a new collection page, create it first, then upload the video and save again.
