# How to remove a team member or cancel a pending invite

Remove someone from your Famewall team, or cancel an invite that hasn't been accepted yet. What happens to the work they did.

Only the account owner can remove team members and cancel invites.

## Remove a team member

1. Click **Team Members** in the sidebar, or choose **Manage Team** from your profile menu.
2. Find the person and click **Remove member**.
3. Confirm with **Remove Member**.

They lose access straight away and are signed out the next time they do anything in Famewall.

## Cancel a pending invite

Under **Pending invites**, click **Revoke** next to the invite. The invite link stops working immediately.

## What happens to their work

* Everything they created while on your team, such as walls, testimonials and settings, stays in your account.
* Their own personal Famewall account isn't deleted. The next time they sign in, they see their own account again.

## Good to know

* Team members can't leave a team on their own. If someone wants to leave, remove them.
* Removing a team member frees up a seat for someone else.
