# How to duplicate a wall, and what gets copied

Make a copy of a wall with all its settings and testimonials, for example to create a second widget for another page or client. What's copied and what isn't.

Duplicating a wall gives you an exact copy of its design and testimonials in one click. It's a quick way to start a new wall with the same look, for example for another product, page or client.

## Steps

1. Go to **Testimonial Walls**.
2. Click **⋮** on the wall's card and choose **Duplicate Wall**.

The copy is created straight away, without a confirmation, and opens automatically. It's named "Copy of" followed by the original name, and its URL is the original URL with a few random characters added. Rename it and change the URL in **Wall Settings**.

## What's copied

* All widget, Wall of Fame and collection page settings.
* The testimonials currently on the wall, in the same order.

## What isn't copied

* Archived testimonials and pending submissions in **Collected Testimonials**.
* Saved import sources and translations.
* Category buttons on the widget. Tag the testimonials again, or apply their categories again with bulk tagging, to bring the buttons back.

## Good to know

* The copy's widget and Wall of Fame page start **unpublished**, and its collection page starts as a draft. Publish them when you're ready.
* On the Free plan, the copy counts toward the number of walls you can create.
* If the original wall uses a custom domain, the copy is linked to the same domain. Don't delete the domain from the copy, because that also disconnects it from the original wall.
