# How to change your plan or switch between monthly and yearly billing

Upgrade, downgrade or switch between monthly and yearly billing. Plan changes take effect immediately and are prorated.

You can move to a bigger or smaller plan, or switch between monthly and yearly billing, whenever you like.

## Steps

1. Click your profile picture at the top right of the dashboard and choose **Billing**.
2. Click **Change plan**. The pricing page opens.
3. Use the switch at the top to show **Bill Monthly** or **Bill Annually** prices.
4. Click **Change Plan** on the plan you want and confirm.

## How plan changes are charged

* Changes take effect **immediately**.
* **Upgrading** or switching to yearly billing is charged right away, minus a credit for the unused part of your current plan.
* **Downgrading** or switching to monthly billing gives you a credit for the unused part of your current plan, which is used for your next invoices. It isn't refunded to your card.
* Switching between monthly and yearly billing starts a new billing period from today.

## Downgrading to a smaller plan

If you have more published widgets, collection pages or videos than the smaller plan allows, the extras are unpublished straight away. Famewall keeps the most recently created ones live. ## Don't see these options on the Billing page?

Billing is managed by the account owner. Team members see **Managed by your team admin** with the owner's email address instead, so ask the owner to make the change.

## Good to know

* If you pay in Indian rupees, make sure **INR** is selected on the pricing page before you change plans.
* The pricing page opens on yearly prices. If you pay monthly, switch to **Bill Monthly** to see your current plan.
